How 1TAP Started
It all began as an idea during our discussions about modernizing and digitizing products to enhance convenience and efficiency. The concept of digital business cards struck me as a way to facilitate effortless networking and improve recall value, enabling contacts to be saved directly. After extensive research and brainstorming, we settled on utilizing QR codes to share information. Later, we discovered NFC technology, allowing seamless information sharing. With little initial knowledge but fueled by passion for technology, we embarked on the journey of developing our product.
After overcoming several challenges and failures, we successfully developed our ERP and mobile application, launching 1TAP PVC Cards in August 2022. The development phase spanned over six months, with an additional six months dedicated to legal, branding, and marketing efforts. Despite concerns about competitors, within just six months since February 2023, we onboarded over 6000+ profiles and began delivering across India. Our goal is to expand globally, providing industry and corporate solutions using NFC and IoT platforms. Additionally, we plan to launch a range of NFC and RFID products for various applications in the near future.
In a rapidly evolving technological landscape, anticipation is key. We are pleased to see the swift acceptance of NFC solutions by people. At 1TAP, we envision numerous applications that can be significantly enhanced through NFC and IoT platforms. Our mission is to offer industrial solutions alongside our exclusive range of NFC products, catering to needs such as inventory management, attendance tracking, and data management. These solutions are tailored for industries including pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, agriculture, events, and government institutions.
“IF IT’S NFC, IT HAS TO BE 1TAP”
We are on a mission to integrate more industrial applications with NFC platforms. Simultaneously, we aim to empower individuals to utilize this cutting-edge technology for networking, thereby saving paper and, ultimately, the environment. More taps mean a reduced impact on nature. Join us in our mission for smarter networking!
